Culture's Tradition

One of the good types in the custom is Culture. It’s where we original came from and as well as that country of our birth. On the other hand, there is a type of activity called tradition. This is what our family and our culture have done for a long time. However, traditional culture contains of the two things beliefs and practices which detained and observed by exact human groups whom have been approved down from their families within their grandparents, parents and the society. Religion it is holding or observing certain events. Within a public it is performing or acting in a manner that has been frequently completed in the previous in that particular part of the universal. For example, we could say that human sacrifices were part of the traditional culture of the celebrating Aid Aladha is part of the Arabic traditional culture. However, before we came to USA I though that the language is the only boundary among the American people and us. But since we learned the English language, we realized that there are a lot of differences between our cultures. Although, there are many similarly among culture such as Middle Eastern culture have a unique way of life’s style than other culture. There are many different cultures around the world like in their events, food, social life, clothes, habits and manner.

The events and food are one of the great traditional cultural that any one in the world is like to do. For example, in Saudi Arabia they do have celebration days every year that it makes them really happy which it called Aid Alfeter. It’s the first celebration after the religious month, which is Ramdan. So, these tow different kinds of the celebrating are part of the Saudi traditional cultural. In Aid Alfater, Muslims people are starting their Aid by praying and after that they will began their celebration by visiting each other and eat a different sort of candies and breakfast. So, every one has to forgive people whom had a problem with. Furthermore, our food in the Aid Alfeter, we are eating a distinctive sort of food such as Depyasa. Its one of the greatest meal every family in Saudi Arabia has to do it. However, her in U.S.A, they do have a different celebration in 14^th of November, which called Thanksgiving. It is like sacrificing one of the Turkey to their Gad. Also, they cook a lot of food and invite their friends and family to join their meals. The most important meal in this day is the Turkey. They also make a mush potato, beef with its dressing, and some vegetables. Moreover, all Christens religious wherever they are in every year have to celebrate their Christmas days. In these days, all Christens people are decorate their house and get to buy many gifts to each other to celebrate their days. Besides, every Fourth of July, American people celebrate their independence from Britain, with the help of the French army in 1776. In each city in U.S.A they do the biggest fireworks there. Lastly, in Saudi Arabia also every year they are celebrating the Saudi national day, is celebrated in Saudi Arabia on every 23th of September.

This day is the nation's identity and is greatly related with the union of Saudi’s Kingdom by the late king Abdulaziz ben Saud in the year 1932. In this day King Abdulaziz holds an important places in the History of Saudi Arabia. 23th of September is one of the Public holidays in Saudi Arabia by our government as they observed it. However, this is a traditional culture in some country, but some of the countries do not celebrate it.

"Traditions give you a sense of family and they give you a sense of belonging to a group of people, not being alone in the world," The social life is one of the things that affect its can and us affect the society in many ways. There are many differences between the counters and their social daily life. Lets take compere United States and the Middle East and lets see what are the differences between them. Most of the people in the world know that there are many vitamins that help us to live our life in a good health. In the Arabic Middle East there is a magical vitamin that can help you to live a good life and its can help you to get out from the troubles even if the trouble with the government! . This vitamin we call it in my country vitamin “W”. W referee to word in Arabic called “Waste”, and this word means instrumentation. You can get this vitamin from your family your friends and from anyone you know. At the same time, you can get a good job by this vitamin, even when you are not good for this job. One the other hand, here in United States the social life can help you to get a good job but as my American friend told me you should be good in this job to get it. There is another deference’s between Arabic culture and between American cultures in the social life. This deference is the relationship between the guys and the girls. In must of the Arabic countries, having a relation’s between the guys and the girls isn’t a usual thing, because of the Arabic traditions. But on the other hand, in the United States of America, having a relationship with a girl is a usual thing. For example, there is no problem if a guy has a girl as a friend.

There are many differences between cultures in clothing. Some of these are following their religion or governments in the type of clothing. Also, there are some people who follow their traditional with their clothing. There are many differences between American culture and Arabic culture. In United State of America there is no special kind of clothing that they use unless in the official occasion such as wedding. They wear the suit. In the normal day people (male and female) in the USA uses shorts and shirts to spend their normal day. In their work they wear the suits or jeans. On the other hand, when we talk about Arabic culture, people wear the traditional kind of clothes for everything, which is called “Dishdashah” for men and “Abaya” for women. Dishdashah and Abaya are a special kind of clothes in Arabic culture especially in The Arabian Gulf. They use it for every occasion because this is our tradition. In the daily life people use it because they feel comfortable with this kind if clothes. Moreover, in their work some of governmental companies that requires this kind of clothes. In addition, in Saudi Arabia Dishdashah is required for the male students to entrench the traditions of Arabic culture. In Iran, The females should ideally cover the hair on a woman’s head, but in Arabic culture Hijab is a thing you can choose if you want to wear it or not. Furthermore, in USA people wear whatever they want, but in Arabic culture people should wear a clothes that cover some places in their body and this part of our religion. Each culture has their own way of tradition and this make them unique in their choices.

Every society has their own social life style. Weather, place and religion are taking a really big part in forming the way that how does a group of people live in a certain place. Starting from where I came and ending here in the U.S, the social life in the Middle Eastern communities is totally different than here in the U.S. In My society, our manners and traditions are taken from our religion and our religion is controlling our societies. therefore, people life style is entirely different than here. In the U.S people are from different cultures, from different countries even there languages are different. However, they made there own life style when they become an American’s. When I came to the U.S I noticed a lot of differences between here and there. For example, it is formal here for any one who becomes 17 or 18 years old to leave his family house and create his own life even sometimes his family force him to do that, in my country the situation is totally different. Everyone has to be with his family until death and that written in our book which is “Quran” that if we sever the relationship between our family members God will banish us, and that’s doesn’t mean that we can’t live our separately and independence life, we can have our own life but next to our families. Also, one of my own experiences in social life differences that happened to me when I lived here, my Mexican friend who lived with me while am preparing to apply for CSUN was a very close friend to me, I usually used to eat my dinner and lunch with my family so here when I was with him I always bring food for me and him so he always feel like he owe me something, it is something usual and formal in my country but here people are different.

To sum up, any group of people who lives together year after a year many decades ago they will create a new life style. Moreover, people in their nature are rechargeable; they used to be like that since this world has been created. Clothing which is one of the big thing that made a different in culture is one of the thing that we really can noticed easily, also the way people are celebrating their events in each country is different, the name of the events, the custom that they used to wear, also the purpose of the events is different. On other hand, the differences in religions are taking a really big part in these differences in life style. Manners and traditions is changing people behaviors in life which is totally will change the social life style. The social life style that we created dependents on religion and on the place so people in different places are different. In the very end, nowadays the world becomes a small village with the social networks on the internet, so people have a good chance to learn from each other to make it easy for anyone to live anywhere in this world by exchanging information watching videos, photos and reading anything about cultures and from my side I started to learn about other cultures since I came to the U.S. I really advice everybody to learn and to do there best to know about this world much more than they knew.
